The Cloud | Richard Clarkson


Bringing the winter clouds into the interior spaces, Richard Clarkson designed an astonishing interactive audiovisual fixture called “The Cloud”. The Cloud imitates a thunder cloud; it generates lighting and produces a winter atmosphere within a space. The design is a very interactive and interesting one.

The Valley House 
The Valley house at the Dolomites Mountain, Italy designed by Kostiantyn Kuvika of Plan Bureau is referred to as the asymmetrical house. From the first moment you set your eyes on it, you are captivated because despite being asymmetrical the house maintains a balance and pleasant geometry. The result is understated elegance.

Nihilistic Optimistic exhibition | Tim Noble and Sue Webster


Tim Noble & Sue Webster’s recently have their first major solo exhibition at Blain|Southern in London. The exhibition features six large-scale works, the show builds upon the artists’ sustained investigation into self-portraiture, further deconstructing the relationship between materiality and form which has been so intrinsic to their practice.

Today, a broad number of students across the globe cannot afford the higher tuitions of traditional colleges and universities, which have caused many of them to search for alternatives. With nearly three million students currently enrolled in fully online degree programs  and six million taking at least one online course as part of their degree program, it seems that online education has clearly become one of the most popular higher education alternatives. The continually improving reputation of online learning has also helped fuel its expansion, as initial skepticism has faltered in the face of evidence that shows that online learning can be just as effective as face-to-face education.

AeroMobil flying car set to take off in 2017, autonomous version to follow


AeroMobil has been around for five years, pursuing the dream of building a functional and (somewhat) practical flying car. Its third-gen prototype was revealed last October, and today at SXSW, AeroMobil CEO Juraj Vaculik revealed a bit more about the company's past and future and the challenges that remain to go from prototypes to fully fledged consumer vehicles - which the company plans to accomplish in 2017.

Tree Bridge | Charles Norbury, Will Kendall and Andrew Novak


The ‘Tree Bridge’ is a pedestrian bridge that takes its inspiration from nature and the surrounding city of Melbourne. The form of the bridge is derived from the metaphorical planting of two gothic inspired trees within the Yarra River, This acts as the primary structure for the bridge deck.
