Today, a broad number of students across the globe cannot afford the higher tuitions of traditional colleges and universities, which have caused many of them to search for alternatives. With nearly three million students currently enrolled in fully online degree programs  and six million taking at least one online course as part of their degree program, it seems that online education has clearly become one of the most popular higher education alternatives. The continually improving reputation of online learning has also helped fuel its expansion, as initial skepticism has faltered in the face of evidence that shows that online learning can be just as effective as face-to-face education.

AeroMobil flying car set to take off in 2017, autonomous version to follow


AeroMobil has been around for five years, pursuing the dream of building a functional and (somewhat) practical flying car. Its third-gen prototype was revealed last October, and today at SXSW, AeroMobil CEO Juraj Vaculik revealed a bit more about the company's past and future and the challenges that remain to go from prototypes to fully fledged consumer vehicles - which the company plans to accomplish in 2017.

The ‘Tree Bridge’ is a pedestrian bridge that takes its inspiration from nature and the surrounding city of Melbourne. The form of the bridge is derived from the metaphorical planting of two gothic inspired trees within the Yarra River, This acts as the primary structure for the bridge deck.

The Business school project design is a theoretical investigation of how abstract concepts and ideas are articulated as physical form through the application of ideal and complex geometries, hence the name morphometric machine.
The morphometric machine is a formal statement that materializes the tension between the comfort and security of the long held orthodox business traditions and the more open-ended methods of conducting business in the twenty first century. As such, the form acts as a memory machine that reminds students and users of the building of the complex ideas and concepts of the business world. Thus, the project is conceived as an articulate, dynamic, and spatial shipyard that teaches and educates through its spatial and physical design.
